Advisory Council

The Loos Center for the Arts Advisory Council will be comprised of a selected group of community members who are driven to give back to Loos Center for the Arts and The Woodstock Academy by using their time and expertise to advise, support, and engage with WA Advancement staff and others.

Mission

The mission of the Loos CFA Advisory Council will be to help grow and maintain community engagement through programming that fosters the visual and performing arts in the northeast corner of Connecticut. This includes, but is not limited to, internal and larger community access to educational opportunities through visual arts, theater, dance, music, community talks, and various other programming opportunities.

Structure

Structurally, this council is run by the Advancement office and will make reports of activity regularly to The Woodstock Academy Foundation, with appointed members with the intent being strictly advisory. The Executive Director of Loos Center for the Arts will serve as the coordinator of this council, and meetings are anticipated to be held no more than 3-4 times each year.
