Performing Arts of NE/CT
Founded in 1974 as Opera New England, the Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut ("P/Arts") Fund continues its mission to bring professional arts and educational programs to our region. Over the years, performances have taken place at Annhurst College, Data General, The Hyde, and now at the Loos Center for the Arts.
Since The Woodstock Academy assumed ownership of the Loos in 2017, our staff has supported Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut by handling artist bookings, marketing, ticketing, and more. Together, we now operate under a restricted fund within The Woodstock Academy Foundation; securing and growing this mission for the future.
The Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut Fund provides professional arts experiences at affordable prices for all ages, with a special focus on free programs for schoolchildren. With The Woodstock Academy Foundation's support, the fund ensures the arts continue to flourish in Northeast Connecticut.
