Guidelines for Use
What's typically approved (in writing):
- Listing "Loos Center for the Arts" as the event location on your poster or program. Please don't include "at The Woodstock Academy" or reference unless we specifically ask you to when we see the materials draft.
- Using the Loos Center for the Arts logo when Loos Center for the Arts is a sponsor of your event.
- Referencing the venue name and address for directions, parking, or box office information.
What's never approved:
- Using "Live at The Loos" on any show not presented by Loos Center for the Arts.
- Implying a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement that hasn't been confirmed in writing, for example "presented in partnership with [The Loos]" when you're simply renting the space.
- Altering the logo in any way, including changing its colors, proportions, or adding text or graphics to it.
- Using "The Loos" or "Loos Center for the Arts" as part of your own organization's or event's name.
- Never reference "Annhurst College"/"Data General"/"Hyde School" in any event promotional materials
If you're not sure whether your planned use falls into one of these categories, just reach out to marketing@theloos.org and we'll help you figure it out before you go to print or post.
Any promotion tying a discount, giveaway, or special offer at your business to attendance at a Loos Center for the Arts event requires a separate promotional agreement with us before it launches. This applies whether or not our logo is used.
