About the Gallery
The Gallery at Loos Center for the Arts hosts four to five exhibits annually. Exhibits feature local, regional, and national professional artists in addition to one student showcase each year. Works range from photography to pyrography, and everything in between. Sculptures, oil paintings, and wood works are often found throughout shows. In addition to Loos Center for the Arts exhibits, the Gallery is also available for private rental by Artists who may want to exhibit their own works.
Our Next Exhibit
The Life and Legacy of Caroll Spinney
Explore the life of Caroll Spinney as told through puppets, memorabilia, and original artwork. Famously known for his roles as Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street, Spinney impacted the world through the characters that he brought to life. For the first time on display together, see Spinney’s childhood artwork and puppets and watch his progression into a world-famous puppeteer. Full of mementos, drawings, puppets, and Oscar himself this exhibit is packed with nostalgia for the generations who can tell you how to get to Sesame Street.
