Event Policies
To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors attending events at Loos Center for the Arts, event attendees may be subject to a search upon entering the facility. Please note that visitors with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances.
Security screening will be conducted for public events. If deemed necessary, pat-downs may be conducted. Visitors should plan to arrive early with their ticket(s) and limited belongings, to allow for this enhanced security process.
Prohibited Items Policy
Prohibited items include items that could be used as a weapon, unlawful substances, tobacco, marijuana, vape devices, bottles or cans, backpacks, knapsacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcases, and like articles. Large bags will not be permitted into most events. For smaller permitted bags, searches may be conducted. For family events, ONLY diaper bags will be allowed and will be searched. No weapons of any kind will be permitted into the event by any patron.
Outside food & beverages are not allowed.
Cell phones are permitted unless otherwise requested by artist management or security. Tablets, iPads, and laptops are NOT permitted.
Camera & Recording Device Policy
This policy applies to patron-operated cameras and recording devices. The camera policy varies depending on each event. Cameras and recording devices may not be allowed at some events. For any questions regarding this policy at a specific event, please contact us.
No Re-entry Policy
Ticketed events at Loos Center for the Arts have a strict "no re-entry" policy, which prevents patrons from leaving the venue once scanned in and attempting to re-enter the building. This policy is in place to provide security and safety measures. Exceptions may be made at management's discretion.
Ticket Transfer Policy
Purchasers may transfer tickets to another party at face value only. Tickets may not be resold for any amount higher than the original ticket price, including fees. Only e-tickets are eligible for transfer. To transfer tickets, use the option from the My Account page, or from your order confirmation which was emailed at the time of order completion.
Do not share screenshots or physical printouts of tickets, as barcodes may be updated after transfer and previously saved or printed copies may not be valid at the door. Tickets purchased through a third party rather than directly through the Loos Center for the Arts Box Office or theloos.org may not be honored at the door. In the event that duplicate tickets are presented at the door, only the ticket bearing the name of the intended recipient will be honored.
If your party will be arriving at different times or through different entrances, we strongly recommend using the feature to send each attendee their own ticket prior to the event. Each attendee must present an individual ticket for admission. Tickets cannot be shared between multiple attendees.
Ticket transfers are final and cannot be reversed. Loos Center for the Arts is unable to assist with ticket transfers or reverse a transfer once completed. For general inquiries, please contact us.
Late Arrival Policy
Loos Center for the Arts events start precisely at the advertised time. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before the event's start time and being seated 1-2 minutes before the event's advertised start time. Late arrivals (and those not seated at the event's advertised start time) may be asked to hold in the atrium until an appropriate time for venue doors to re-open to minimize interruptions to the performance and other visitors.
Children's Policy
Children under the age of four are not permitted at Loos Center for the Arts events unless the performance is a designated family/children's show. Please call the Box Office or visit individual event pages on our website for show-specific age recommendations. All visitors, regardless of age, require a ticket for admission.
Photo & Video Policy
Loos Center for the Arts regularly photographs and records video at events for use in marketing, promotional, and archival materials, including on our website, social media, printed materials, and advertisements. By attending an event or participating as a staff member or volunteer, you acknowledge that you may appear in this content and that it may be used for these purposes without compensation.
Individuals who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify a staff member prior to or upon arrival. While we will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests, we cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear incidentally in crowd photography or video. Photos and video featuring minors will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Woodstock Academy policy.
Service Animal Policy
Loos Center for the Arts welcomes service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are dogs individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability. Although pets and other animals are not permitted at events, service animals are welcome in all areas of the venue open to the public. Staff may ask only two questions to verify a service animal: whether the animal is required due to a disability, and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. Documentation, certification, or advance notice is not required. If you have questions or would like to discuss seating accommodations, please contact us.
Accessibility
Loos Center for the Arts is committed to providing an accessible experience for all visitors. For information on accessible seating, accommodations, and services, please visit our Accessibility page.
